We recognise the number and scale of challenges facing families with children and young people with a disability, not just with obtaining and/or securing provisions in an EHC plan, but with accessing services such as short breaks or direct payments, challenging the outcome of a social care needs assessment, securing funding for travel from home to an establishment of education or training, DLA or PIP form filling or bringing a formal complaint against the LA.

Subject to your needs, our consultations apply the law across all areas of special education, disability discrimination in relation to school exclusions, judicial review, social care provision under children or adult social services and disability benefit awards.

Initial consultations are limited to summary advice which will cover an overview of the facts, an overview of the law, the various options open to you and an email summarising next steps. The initial consultation is not intended to be an in-depth consultation.

You can book a phone consultation for same day advice  at a time that suits you.  We offer extended hours of support that includes evenings and weekends.

Initial phone consultations last for 1 hour (and can be extended).

Our bespoke in-depth consultations include a review, initial consideration, and reading time of documents in connection with the issues you wish to resolve, followed by a 1 hour phone consultation to discuss the merits of the case and the appropriate steps to take, an overview of the law and prospects of success. The fees for this service is set at an hourly rate. Contact us to enquire further.
